With more and more competition, lot of people suffer from anxiety disorders. Vitamins help fight and overcome anxiety. It is essential that we take the right vitamins and in the right proportion through our diet since our body is unable to synthesize vitamins on its own.

Vitamins can be divided into two

1.Fat Soluble vitamins - These vitamins are stored in the body’s fat and liver. Vitamins K, A, D and E fall in this category.

2. Water Soluble vitamins - These vitamins should be consumed on a daily basis as they don’t get stored in the body. Vitamins C and B are in this category.

There are 13 vitamin types - B6, Riboflavin, Pantothenic Acid, Vitamin A, B1 (Thiamin),B12 (Cobalamin), Biotin, C, D, E, Folic Acid (Folacin), and Niacin. They play an important role in proper functioning of body parts.

Vitamin K - It helps in proper brain and nervous function, strengthens health of bones, and helps blood to clot normally.
Vitamin B - These vitamins (B1 (thiamine), B2 (Riboflavin), B3 (Niacin), B5 (Pantothenic Acid), B6 (Pyridoxine), B7 (Biotin), B9 (Folic Acid), B12 (Cobalamins)) play an important role in cell metabolism. They belong to the same family, however are chemically distinct and more often coexist in the same food.
Vitamin D - It helps to increase body immunity, strengthens white corpuscle, regulates BP and helps in prevention of infections.
Vitamin A - It is alias Retinol as it produces pigment in the retina of the eye. It is essential permanently vision and healthy skin.
Vitamin C - Also known as Ascorbic Acid, it is essential for growth and repair of tissues all body parts. It helps in repairing wounds, makes the teeth and bones strong.
Vitamin E - Best known to treat disease of the skin like sun burn, scars, skin cancer, skin ageing etc.

One of the unknown facts about vitamins is that they should be taken in a proper mix. Study suggests that the body should have enough of Vitamin B2 for vitamin E to work and enough of vitamin E for vitamin A to function properly.
